Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel in which a cost reduction of its core metal can be attained without causing influence on a removal work for the core metal out of a steering shaft.SOLUTION: The core metal 20 of the steering wheel 12 is formed by a die casting process. The steering wheel 12 is pulled out of a steering shaft 11 in a rearward direction using a removal jig 40 comprising a base plate 41, a pushing bolt 46 and a plurality of supporting bolts 51. The core metal part (a boss part core metal 22) around a boss part 27 is provided with through-pass holes 55 enabling each of supporting bolts 51 to be threadably fitted to nuts 56 held at the front side of the core metal part to be inserted and passed therein. These through-pass holes 55 are formed at die casting of the core metal 20. Further, nut holding auxiliary segments 60 for assisting holding action at the locations of the nuts 56 are arranged at the locations each of which corresponds to each of the through-pass holes 55 near the front side of the core metal.
