Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulosic ester film having excellent long film forming properties and providing a polarizing plate with excellent durability and contrast performance, a method of manufacturing the film, the polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device using the polarizing plate.SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a cellulose acylate film, the cellulose acylate film having a laminated body comprising a cellulose acylate layer A with 2.7 or less of an average acyl group substitution degree and a layer B located adjacent to the layer A and having an average acyl group substitution degree larger than that of the layer A is manufactured. Co-casting is performed by using a solution 1 including cellulose acylate resin (a) with 2.7 or less of an acyl group substitution degree and a solution 2 including cellulose acylate resin (b) with more than 2.8 of an acyl group substitution degree and cellulose acylate resin (d) with 2.7 or less of an acyl group substitution degree, so as to manufacture a laminated cellulose acylate film.
