INDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner improving safety by preventing an electric component box from being wetted and surely preventing intrusion of liquid into the electric component box, even when the liquid intrudes into an indoor unit body.SOLUTION: The indoor unit body 1 is composed of a back body 2 provided with a back plate 4 on a bottom plate 5, and a front panel 3 fitted to a front face of the back plate, and placed on an installation face, an indoor heat exchanger 14 is mounted on the back body, an electric component box 15 receiving electric components for controlling and the like inside, is mounted at a side part of the indoor heat exchanger, and a protective cover member covers a top face of the electric component box, and receives the liquid from the above penetrating and dripping from a butting face of the back plate of the back body and the front panel to discharge and guide the liquid.
