Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high-speed image data processing suitable for continuous image formation by efficiently using a plurality of variable configuration processing circuits (DRP).SOLUTION: Raster data is required for continuous image formation and requires a real-time characteristic. A plurality of DRPs 12 are allocated only to processing (page processing) for generating bit-map image data for image formation from the raster data so as to serve as one or more page-processing DRP 12; allocated only to other processing such as RIP processing other than the processing so as to serve as one or more other-processing DRP 12; or allocated to both of page processing and other processing so as to serve as one dynamic-change DRP 12. While the other processing is being carried out in the dynamic-change DRP 12, if the page processing is required to be carried out by the DRP 12, switching between the other processing and the page processing is arbitrarily carried out, and page processing is executed by the DRP 12.
