PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drill bit having improved durability.SOLUTION: The drill bit 1 includes an approximately columnar-shaped body part 4 partitioned into an approximately circular-shaped front end surface 41 and an outer peripheral surface 41 extended from the periphery of the front end surface 41 to the other end side, and a grinding part 1A which is provided on the front end surface 41 of the body part 4 and grinds a workpiece. A slit 4a provided in such a manner that an opening part opening to the outer peripheral surface 42 is partitioned from the front end surface 41 toward the other end side of the body part 4 is formed on the body part 4. The slit 4a is opened to the front end surface 41, and has a second slit 42a having a larger diameter circular shape than the slit width in the opening part in the cross section orthogonal to a direction from the front end surface 41 of the body part 4 toward the other end side.
