Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable machining by an abrasive water jet.SOLUTION: This abrasive water jet machining device 10 supplies high pressure water W from a high pressure water supply part 12 to a mixing chamber 14, mixes a polishing material G with a high pressure water flow in the mixing chamber 14 from a polishing material storage container 11 through a supply pipe 13 to form suspension, and applies a jet injection flow J to a workpiece P from an injection nozzle 15 to perform machining. When the polishing material G is supplied to the injection nozzle 15, the polishing material G is fed from the polishing material storage container 11 by mechanical extrusion by a continuous operation of a screw, etc. A lowering portion where suction force of the high pressure water flow in the mixing chamber 14 does not act and the polishing material G is lowered by substantially only gravity is provided to lead the polishing material G therein, between a delivery port 11b of the polishing material storage container 11 and the mixing chamber 14. Subsequently, the polishing material G is supplied to the mixing chamber 14 under the gravity and the suction force of the high pressure water flow.
