DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING GLOSSINESS FEELING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for evaluating glossiness feeling enabling evaluation high in the correlation with subjective glossiness feeling with respect to the glossiness of a sample and capable of acquiring subjective glossiness feeling as a glossiness feeling evaluation value by separating the same into the components of diffusion reflection, mirror surface reflection and surface roughness.SOLUTION: This glossiness feeling evaluation device has a means for generating an image, which contains diffusion reflection brightness and mirror surface reflection brightness calculated by a reflection model, as a glossiness image, a means for inputting the image to a projection device 3 to project the same on a reference sample 1, a means for changing at least one of the diffusion reflection brightness and the mirror surface reflection brightness during the projection of the image and acquiring an image, which recognizes that the glossiness of the sample is equal to the glossiness of the reference sample as a glossiness feeling evaluation image and a means for separating the glossiness feeling of the sample into components constituting the glossiness feeling evaluation image to acquire the same as the glossiness feeling evaluation value.
