Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for estimating a propagation path which estimate an exact propagation path, excluding an effect given by an ionosphere for remote sensing when a radio wave transmitted from a satellite is reflected on the surface of the earth and the reflected wave is received by the satellite or when the radio wave transmitted from a transmission source on the ground is received by the satellite and the location of the transmission source is estimated.SOLUTION: The system for estimating the propagation path, which includes one or more receivers 24 receiving satellite signals transmitted from a plurality of geolocation satellites 10, includes: array antennas 52 which are provided in the satellite 50 and receive the radio wave coming from the surface of the ground through the ionosphere; a signal processor 59 which calculates the arrival azimuth and the elevation angle of the radio wave; a communication data processor 60 which transmits them as received information to the ground by satellite communication; a second calculation part which calculates the location etc. of the satellite 50, based on the received information; a second electron density estimation part which estimates electron density in an area corresponding to the propagation path of the radio wave; and a propagation path estimation part which estimates the propagation path of the radio wave received by the array antennas by a ray tracing method. |
