PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine capable of preventing generation of great acceleration torque against an operator's intention.SOLUTION: A power shovel 1 as the working machine comprises an upper structure 9 which is driven by an electric swing motor 7, and a swing control device 20 which performs the swing control of the upper structure 9; and the swing control device 20 is equipped with a swing torque limit setting means 29 for setting an upper limit value of the acceleration torque, which is output from the electric swing motor 7, as a swing limit torque command value. Thus, when the upper limit value is changed to a small one by the swing torque limit setting means 29, a rapid increase in the acceleration torque output from the electric swing motor 7 can be prevented for an improvement in operability, even if an inertia force is rapidly decreased during the swing of the upper structure 9.
