Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated diene polymer capable of obtaining a polymer composition excellent in wear-resistance, a polymer composition in which the conjugated diene polymer and a reinforcing agent such as silica are formulated, and a method for manufacturing the conjugated diene polymer.SOLUTION: The conjugated diene polymer includes a monomer unit based on a conjugated diene and a monomer unit based on a substituted diphenylethylene, and in the conjugated diene polymer, at least one end of the polymer is modified by a compound represented by formula (2): (wherein n represents an integer of 1-10, R, Rand Rrepresent a 1-10C hydrocarbyl group or a 1-10C hydrocarbyloxy group, at least one of R, Rand Ris a hydrocarbyloxy group, and Rrepresents a group having at least one of atom selected from the atom group consisting of a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom).
