Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the operation of an elevator using a fuel cell at the time of power failure while sufficiently suppressing a variation in the load of a power supply.SOLUTION: When power failure occurs over a specified time or longer, an elevator control device 8 performs a low-speed operation start processing by the fuel cell, and to largely suppress a variation in the load of the power supply of the fuel cell 1, performs a speed setting change processing for continuously operating the elevator at low speeds without stopping a car 5 even during the opening and closing of the door. When the car 5 comes within a door opening allowable zone, the elevator control device 8 performs a door opening processing. Then, the elevator control device 8 performs a door closing operation processing when the car 5 comes within a door closing operation zone, determines whether the recovery of power from the power failure is present or not when the door of the car is normally closed within a door zone, and immediately stops the operation when the door cannot be fully closed within the door range for some reason or other.
