PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble and produce an electrostatic atomization generator for generating charged particle water at a low cost.SOLUTION: The washing and drying machine includes: an outer tub 3 elastically suspended inside a casing 1; an inner tub 4 for housing clothes; a pulsator 6; a driving means 8; an upper frame body 48 mounted on the upper part of the casing 1; a support member 50 provided on the rear inner part of the upper frame body 48; a blowing means 65 provided on the support member 50; an electrostatic atomization generation unit 53 provided with an electrostatic atomization generator 55 for generating charged particle water and an electrostatic atomization driving means 56; and a control means 33. Since the electrostatic atomization generation unit 53 includes an attaching plate A57 to which the electrostatic atomization generator 55 is fixed and an electrostatic atomization attaching plate 63 to which an attaching plate B58 to which the electrostatic atomization driving means 56 is fixed is screwed from below and the electrostatic atomization attaching plate 63 is screwed to the support member 50 from below, it is manufactured with high productivity and at a low cost and a service property is improved as well.
