Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of sufficiently suppressing inrush current generated in a start process. SOLUTION: At the startup of the power converter, a control circuit 30 turns off a connection switch 21 and an interconnect switch 23, and causes an initial charge circuit 24 to generate DC power and an inverter circuit 20 to operate, thereby charges a DC capacitor C1 and a filter capacitor C2. When the capacitors C1 and C2 are charged to reach a given charge voltage, the control circuit 30 temporarily suspends the inverter circuit 20 and charges DC capacitor C1 until it reaches a rectification voltage of a power system 12. Subsequently, the control circuit 30 connects the inverter circuit 20 to the power system 12 by turning on the interconnect switch 23 at the same point of time of suspending the inverter circuit 20, connects a secondary battery 11 to the inverter circuit 20 by turning on the connection switch 21, and causes the inverter circuit 20 to resume its operation. Hence component interconnection at the startup is carried out in a superior manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
