Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film for an optical film, which is used for protecting the surface of an optical film subjected to an activation treatment, wherein a peeling charge amount generated when the surface protective film is peeled from the optical film is reduced and there is no trouble of contamination on the optical film surface after the surface protective film is peeled. SOLUTION: The surface protective film includes a substrate film and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and is stuck to an optical film through the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the surface protective film. The surface of the optical film coming in contact with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is subjected to an activation treatment.
