LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of effectively preventing adhesion of dust and the like by selectively grounding an exposure region of a dust preventing glass and the like in the liquid crystal display device having a frame and to provide a projector in which the liquid crystal display device is assembled. SOLUTION: In surfaces of first and second dust preventing plates 93a and 93b, since non-display regions A12 and A22 having conductive layers 94a and 94b formed therein have an exposure part 81b exposed from a frame body 82 and a fixing member 83 in at least a part thereof, a grounding wiring 86 can be easily pulled out from the exposure part 81b connected to the conductive layers 94a and 94b formed on display regions A11 and A21 even after a display device body 81 is fixed to be interposed between the frame body 82 and the fixing member 83. An antistatic connection part 85 and the like can be attached via the exposure part 81b after the frame is attached and the conductive layers 94a and 94b of the display regions A11 and A21 can be selectively grounded.
