REFRIGERATING SHOWCASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating showcase improved to prevent overcooling of commodities to be moderately cooled and to exhibit appropriate quality and temperature control and high energy saving effects even during operation in which a ratio between interior strongly cooled region and moderately cooled region is widely changed, targeted for a two-temperature type multistage refrigerating showcase. SOLUTION: In the refrigerating showcase, an intermediate duct 10 is set in one of display shelves 3 arranged within the two-layer air curtain type multistage showcase, and cold air taken in from the middle of an inner duct 4 is guided to the front side of the display shelves 3 to blow out and form an air curtain 15. With the intermediate duct set, the interior of a commodity display chamber 2 is partitioned into the strongly cooled region and moderately cooled region to achieve cold insulation of commodities to be strongly cooled and commercial products to be moderately cooled at predetermined management temperatures. An evaporator arranged in the inner duct 4 is divided into two systems to enable division into first and second evaporators 6, 7 connected to a refrigerant circuit of a refrigerating machine. Control is performed to operate and stop the first and second evaporators 6, 7 individually in accordance with each operation mode of "overall strong cooling", "overall moderate cooling" and "strong cooling+moderate cooling".
