Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helium cooling type regenerator capable of more stably keeping an extremely-cold temperature as compared with a conventional helium cooling type regenerator. SOLUTION: This helium cooling type regenerator storing cold of a working medium flowing in the main flowing direction, includes a plurality of hollow pipes receiving a helium gas as a cold storage material inside, each hollow pipe is opened at its both ends, the working medium can be circulated inside of the hollow pipes, both ends are respectively provided with first and second flow channel resistance sections, and further each hollow pipe has at least one third flow channel resistance section on a position excluding both ends.
