REGENERATOR, COLD STORAGE TYPE REFRIGERATING MACHINE, CRYOPUMP, AND REFRIGERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helium cooling type regenerator capable of further reducing heat loss as compared with a conventional helium cooling type regenerator. SOLUTION: This helium cooling type regenerator stores cold of a working medium flowing in the main flowing direction. The helium cooling type regenerator includes a plurality of first hollow pipes and a plurality of second hollow pipes receiving a helium gas as a cold storage material inside, each hollow pipe is opened at least at its one end, the working medium can be circulated inside of the hollow pipes, the plurality of first hollow pipes and the plurality of second hollow pipes are arranged in the direction approximately vertical to the main flowing direction, and the plurality of first hollow pipes and the plurality of second hollow pipes have parts interweaved to each other to have a network structure.
