Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle for satisfying the request of a user to power performance under the consideration of the residual capacity of a capacitor. SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle includes: a residual capacity determination part which determines the residual capacity of a capacitor; an operation part which is made operable by a user; an output control part which controls the output of a motor to be increased in a powerful assist mode according to the operation of the operation part by the user and the residual capacity of the capacitor; and a charging control part which controls the capacitor to be charged according to the operation of the operation part by the user and the residual capacity of the capacitor. When it is determined that the residual capacity of the capacitor is less than a threshold when the operation part is operated, the charging control part controls the capacitor to be charged, and a display part displays that the residual capacity of the capacitor is less than a prescribed value, and when it is determined that the residual capacity of the capacitor is equal to or more than a first threshold when the operation part is operated, the output control part controls the output of the motor to be increased.
