Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor having an outer diameter of ≤10.5 mm and height of ≥30 mm, which is made compact, and has no short circuit even when short-circuiting of an exterior case and an anode lead wire is caused, and is highly safe. SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor is constituted by storing a capacitor element formed by winding an anode foil and a cathode foil with a separator interposed, in the exterior case with a bottom made of aluminum. In the electrolytic capacitor, the ratio of the outer diameter to the height of the electrolytic capacitor is 1:(3 to 10), the cathode foil is disposed at the outermost periphery of the capacitor element, and a paper tape provided with an adhesive on one surface is wound to secure the element.
