PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and effort of a maintenance person, and to prevent an error in an input operation by the maintenance person, thus appropriately supporting a maintenance operation to an image forming apparatus hidden from an external network. SOLUTION: An equipment management system has a program for making a computer, regarding an image forming apparatus as a maintenance target, execute a management information acquisition procedure for acquiring, from a management device which stores maintenance management information showing a state in a maintenance operation in the past, the maintenance management information via a network and recording the maintenance management information in a management information storage means, an equipment information acquisition procedure for acquiring equipment information showing a state of the image forming apparatus in a maintenance operation at this time from the image forming apparatus, a report data generation procedure for generating report data in which report information regarding the maintenance operation is recorded on the basis of comparison between the maintenance management information recorded in the management information storage means and the equipment information, and a print control procedure for making the image forming apparatus print the report data; and the image forming apparatus.
