Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy-saving performance and to provide a user with comfortable air conditioning by performing operation according to indoor air-conditioning load after the termination of an off timer. SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a human body detection means 8 for detecting presence of a person, a human body proximity temperature detection means 2, an outside air temperature detection means 3, a suction temperature detection means 4, a temperature setting means 5 for setting target room temperature, an off timer means 1 for stopping operation of the air conditioner when a timer setting value is reached, a ventilation means 6 for exhausting indoor air to outdoors and introducing outdoor air to indoors, and a pollution degree detection means 7 for determining a pollution degree of the outside air. When a person exists after operation of the off timer, the air conditioner performs cooling operation or ventilation operation, or continues to stop according to temperature near the human body, a condition of the outdoor temperature, and the pollution degree of the outside air. Thereby, additional cooling operation is performed when air-conditioning load is large so that the user can sleep without uncomfortable feeling.
