AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of failure information of a plurality of indoor units and outdoor units connected to a multi-type air conditioner in an easily understandable way. SOLUTION: A centralized controller 4, including an indoor unit 1 including a control part 7 which stores a microcomputer for controlling start/stop of operation, an outdoor unit 11 including a control part 9 which stores a microcomputer for controlling operation speed, etc., of a motor, an operation part 8 for performing temperature setting and air amount setting, a display panel 6 for displaying the present temperature setting condition and air amount setting condition, and a voice unit 5, is connected to the indoor unit and the outdoor unit via a wire 10. The centralized controller 4 includes a failure informing function for informing a code number corresponding to failure contents or inspection contents, and a name of the outdoor unit or of the indoor unit where the failure or inspection occurs from the voice unit 5 by voice, with respect to information of failure and inspection which occur in the indoor unit or in the multi-type outdoor unit.
