SHIELD ROOF CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction in construction cost and the shortening of a construction period by improving constructibility of a shield roof construction method. SOLUTION: When ground around a roof shield tunnel 4 is frozen, a stick-on freezing pipe 7 is provided on an inner surface of each roof shield tunnel; a working cavity 10 as a driving base is precedently constructed in an axial important position in the roof shield tunnel; an axial freezing pipe 11 along the axial direction of the adjacent roof shield tunnels is driven into the ground between both the adjacent roof shield tunnels from the driving base; and the ground around each roof shield tunnel is frozen by the stick-on freezing pipe and the axial freezing pipe. In the precedent construction of the working void as the driving base, the ground between the adjacent roof shield tunnels can be excavated after being consolidated by a freezing construction method or a chemical grouting method.
