Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a production process which can efficiently and stably produce a pellet having a low moisture content even when a highly hygroscopic resin such as an acrylic resin is used. SOLUTION: In the process for producing the acrylic resin pellet including a molding step of molding the acrylic resin in a molten state into the pellet and, subsequent to the molding step, a transport step of transporting the pellet into a storage silo (5), the temperature of the pellet is kept at 70°C or higher during the transport step. Further, in an acrylic resin package body, the acrylic resin pellet is sealed with a material having a water vapor transmission rate of less than 1.0 g/m2/24-hours. In the acrylic resin pellet, a moisture content is less than 300 ppm and a foreign matter having a diameter of 2 μm or larger in an amount of less than 500 particles/g as measured on a liquid-borne particle counter.
