Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for achieving local and selective two-dimensional arrangement of protein molecules including an inorganic nanomaterial such as metal and semiconductor on a substrate with high density. SOLUTION: The method includes a step of alternately applying protein molecules having charges in opposite polarities to each other, both including inorganic nanomaterials of the same kind or different kinds, on a substrate. By alternately applying the protein molecules charged in opposite polarities to each other on the substrate, protein molecules including an inorganic nanomaterial can be locally, selectively and two-dimensionally arranged with high density on the substrate. As no organic substance is used in the two-dimensional arrangement method, which is different from a conventional PBLH (poly-1-benzyl-L-histidine) method, there is no influence of an organic substance, and a process such as coating can be easily combined with an MEMS (micro electro-mechanical system) process, which can broaden application of protein molecules to various types of devices.
