PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment operating normally when a first terminal is used as an input terminal and a second terminal is used as an output terminal, or when the second terminal is used as the input terminal and the first terminal is used as the output terminal. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has an output terminal onto which power is superimposed from external equipment. The electronic equipment includes a first terminal T1, a second terminal T2, an amplifier 8, a relay RY1, and a relay RY2. The relay RY1 connects electrically the first terminal T1 to an input end of the amplifier 8 when power is not superimposed on the first terminal T1, or connects electrically the first terminal T1 to an output end of the amplifier 8 when power is superimposed on the first terminal T1. The relay RY2 connects electrically the second terminal T2 to the input end of the amplifier 8 when power is not superimposed on the second terminal T2, or connects electrically the second terminal T2 to the output end of the amplifier 8 when power is superimposed on the second terminal T2.
