VEHICULAR SIGNAL LAMP TOOL UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular signal lamp tool unit thinner and more downsized than a conventional vehicular signal lamp tool. SOLUTION: The vehicular signal lamp tool unit includes a wedge-shaped light guide lens, of which a thickness between the front and back becomes thinner toward a tip from an incident plane, an LED light source arranged opposed to the incident plane and irradiating light entering from the incident plane into the light guide lens to emit from its surface, and a reflection surface arranged at a backside of the light guide lens. An apex angle of the light guide lens is set in a range of 1° to 10°, and the light guide lens is arranged in an inclined position to the optical axis of the lamp tool so that the LED light incident into the light guide lens and emitted from the surface of the light guide lens forms a light distribution pattern required by the law on a virtual vertical screen.
