ELECTRONIC SUBSTRATE AND MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device including an FPC having a reinforcing member in which the rigidity of a reinforcing plate used in a printed circuit connection portion is improved while reducing the weight of the reinforcing plate in a magnetic head connection portion. SOLUTION: The electronic device includes: the flexible printed circuit (FPC) including a head connection portion 31 on which a terminal for electrically connecting to a magnetic head 11 is provided, and a substrate connection portion 32 on which a terminal electrically connected to a main printed circuits is provided; a first reinforcing member 1 which is provided at the head connection portion 31 of the flexible printed circuit to reinforce the head connection portion 31; and a second reinforcing member 2 which is provided at the substrate connection portion 32 of the flexible printed circuit to reinforce the substrate connection portion 32. A drawn shape is imparted to the second reinforcing member 2. The drawn shape improves the rigidity of the second reinforcing member 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
