Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-down circuit capable of stepping down an external supply voltage without using a depression transistor. SOLUTION: A diode string 52 is provided between a supply port PVDD for receiving a supply voltage and an internal supply line 50. The diode string 52 includes a plurality of diodes D1-D3 serially connected with cathodes pointed at the internal supply line 50 side. A bypass switch SW1 is provided in parallel to at least one diode D3 included in the corresponding diode string 52.
