IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of efficiently discharging heat of a display panel into air from a frame chassis, and from a discharge hole formed in the back cover of a casing to the outside. SOLUTION: The image display device includes: a frame chassis which supports a display panel on a nondisplay surface side and to which heat generated at the display panel is conducted; a back cover forming a closed space with the frame chassis; a circuit board having a heat generating parts mounted in the closed space and fixed by forming a predetermined gap opposite the frame chassis; an exhaust fan disposed to discharge air in the closed space from a discharge hole formed in the back cover; and a duct connected from the suction side of the exhaust fan to near the end of the circuit board, and configured to suck air from the gap between the circuit board and the frame chassis. Thus, a suction force of the exhaust fan is concentrated in the gap between the end of the circuit board and the frame chassis, and the surface of a filter film bonded to the display panel is efficiently cooled from the backside.
