IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of surely moving even a shutter member with large frictional resistance when closing in interrelation with a pulling-out operation of a developing device without urging the shutter member by a spring in a closing direction, thereby covering a developer supply port. SOLUTION: The shutter 112 can move in a moving direction of the developing device 4. A pushing-in part 117 makes the shutter 112 retract from the developer supply port 109 in interrelation with movement of the developing device 4 in a mounting direction. A shutter arm 120 makes the shutter 112 cover the developer supply port 109 in interrelation with the movement of the developing device 4 in a pulling-out direction. The shutter arm 120 engages the shutter 112 with the developing device 4 after the shutter 112 is made to retract from the developer supply port 109. The shutter arm 120 releases engagement of the shutter 112 with the developing device 4 after the shutter 112 is closed to cover the developer supply port 109. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
