PROTECTION COVER AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cover, the assembling accuracy of which can be improved by absorbing dimensional tolerance and to provide an image display device using the protection cover. SOLUTION: A resin composition 21 having high adhesive power in normal temperature region and also having translucency is projected into a cavity formed among a fixing side template 31, a movable side template 32 and a protection cover 20. A resin molding layer is formed at the back of the protection cover 20, and its surround is covered by the resin molding. By inserting and fitting the molding thus obtained into a guide groove of a housing, play between a display surface and a horizontal direction is suppressed, and longitudinal and lateral dimensional tolerances are absorbed. Tolerance of board thickness is absorbed by adhering an image display panel to the back of the resin moldings layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
