LARGE WATER DEPTH QUAY WALL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large water depth quay wall structure, decreasing the weight of a bank body to reduce the cost, facilitating construction in a large water depth area, and shortening the period of construction, as compared with the conventional quay wall structure. SOLUTION: This large water depth quay wall structure includes: a gravitational bulkhead structure part 1; and a pier structure part 2 constructed on the front thereof. The bulkhead structure part 1 includes: a bottom bulkhead structure 3 formed by a rubble mound of a height not to reach the water surface; and an upper bulkhead structure 4 installed at a position set aside to the back side thereon, the upper end of which has a height to reach the water surface. The pier structure part 2 includes: a base plate 12 buried under the front of the bottom bulkhead structure 4; struts 10 erected thereon; and a concrete floor slab 11 supported on the struts 10.
