Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide treatment methods of neurological disorders and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of chronic pain. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to methods to treat neurological disorders comprising intrathecal injection of an effective amount of a double-stranded (ds)RNA, wherein the dsRNA inhibits the expression of a target gene. In a preferred embodiment, the chronic pain is chronic neuropathic pain, in another preferred embodiment, the chronic pain is selected from the group consisting of cancer pain, osteoarthritis pain, allodynia, or hyperalgesia. In a preferred embodiment, the neurological disorder is selected from the group consisting of Alzheimer, Parkinson, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, epilepsy, depression, and pain.
