Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip saw by which cutting waste is easier to be discharged to the rear side of the chip. SOLUTION: This chip saw includes: a disk-like saw body; and a large number of chips 3 which are fixed on the peripheral edge of the saw body at a specified interval. The chip 3 has a thickness larger than the thickness of the saw body, and in addition, has a left side surface 9, a right side surface 10, a front surface 7 and a rear surface 11. A blade tip 3a is formed on the front surface 7 of the chip 3, and a groove 12 reaching the rear surface 11 from the front surface 7 is respectively formed on each of both side surfaces 9 and 10.
