Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image noise by the flicker of a light source. SOLUTION: In adjustment, a selection means 1c specifies one setting table to be stored in a setting table storage means 1d, and an image reading means 1a reads a picture image of an adjustment medium based on the specified setting table. An evaluation means 1b calculates luminance distribution of the picture image to calculate an evaluated value of the image noise included in the picture image based on characteristics of the luminance distribution. The selection means 1c collates the calculated evaluated value with a criterion, and when the evaluated value satisfies the criterion, selects the setting table as for reading of an object medium.
