Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing a continuous heating operation even after termination of a frost formation preventing operation. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes a bypass circuit for connecting a discharge side of a compressor and an inlet side in a heating operation of an outdoor heat exchanger, a bypass solenoid valve for connecting and disconnecting the bypass circuit, and a control device for controlling a rotational frequency of the compressor and controlling the bypass solenoid valve. When a condition having a risk of frost formation changes to a condition free from the risk of frost formation in a case when the control device determines whether the risk of frost formation exists in the outdoor heat exchanger or not in the heating operation, the rotational frequency of the compressor is lowered, and the bypass circuit is disconnected after the rotational frequency reaches a prescribed value.
