METHOD OF JACKING ELEMENT AND CUTTING EDGE ELEMENT USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of jacking an element which easily corrects the intruding direction of an element and improves working efficiency and working speed, and also to provide a cutting edge element used for the method. SOLUTION: In the method of jacking an element, the cutting edge element 1 positioned at the front end of an element row in the intruding direction includes a plurality of detachable bits 23a, 23b on the outer periphery of the front opening 21 thereof. These bits are replaceable between normal bits which have normal thicknesses and thick bits for directional correction which further project outward than the normal bits, respectively. When the intruding direction of the element row is corrected, the bit (for example 23a) of the cutting edge element 1 to be bent is replaced with a thick bit for directional correction which further projects outward than the normal bit, and the cutting edge element 1 is intruded into the cutting edge element 1, the bit for directional correction is replaced with the original normal bit to create a space for rotation, and the intruding direction is corrected.
