| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-retaining device with which a belt is prevented from slipping out through a belt loop due to the weight of an attached article, or the attached article is prevented from dropping down from the belt when releasing the buckle of the belt of trousers when a wearer puts on a heavy article such as a waist bag or a tool. SOLUTION: The belt-retaining device is structured as follows: a projecting material smaller than a belt loop 3 and larger than the width of the belt 2 is fixedly attached to a belt 2 so as to prevent the belt 2 from slipping out through the belt loop 3 due to the weight of the attached article when unfastening the belt 2 while the projecting material gets stuck with the belt loop 3 so as not to slip out through the belt loop 3.
