CUTTERS FOR SURGERY, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cutters for surgery, capable of further lowering piercing resistance or the like while preventing excessive etching, and also to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the cutters for surgery, formed from a rod material 15 of an austenitic stainless steel having a fiber shape tissue, includes: a process where an actuation part 16 of the cutter to pierce or cut an organism tissue is formed in the rod material 15, so that the fiber shape tissue becomes in the direction of a center axis (a); a process for forming grinding traces 24 in the actuation part of the cutter for the surgery; and a process for etching the actuation part 23 after grinding. The etching is performed to an extent that a plurality of craters 26 appears on the actuation part and also stripes along the direction of the fiber shape tissue are not formed, and then, silicone coating is performed on the etching.
