SOLUTION: A rectifier control system includes a detector 21 for detecting an input electric power of a rectifier 2 connected to a commercial power supply 1, a detector 22 for detecting an output electric power of the rectifier 2, an arithmetic circuit 8 for calculating the efficiency of the rectifier 2, and a control circuit 10 for controlling the rectifier 2.
