COMPONENT PACKAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CARRYING SUBSTRATE IN APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component packaging apparatus and a method of carrying substrates in the component packaging apparatus, for improving productivity by rationally controlling the order of carrying in substrates in a configuration including a plurality of substrate carrying lanes. SOLUTION: When a new substrate 13 is passed to a substrate distribution unit M3B, carry-in priority order data for a substrate type concerned stored in a substrate data storage unit in advance are read, and a priority substrate 13* having a high carry-in priority order is carried into conveyors 10A, 10D the most adjacent to component supply units 20A, 20B from the substrate distribution unit M3B from among a plurality of substrate carrying conveyors to which a substrate request signal R is outputted, in a configuration including: the component supply units 20A, 20B disposed on a side of a row of conveyors where the conveyors 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D stand in line; and the substrate distribution unit M3B for distributing the substrate 13 passed from an upstream side device.
