Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom on an installation place of a cartridge storage section without interfering with the motion of a machine gun. SOLUTION: This cartridge recovery device includes the cartridge storage section 1 disposed relatively movably to the machine gun G in a prescribed direction, and a transferring section (M1, etc.) receiving the cartridge discharged from a cartridge discharge port of the machine gun, transferring the same to the cartridge storage section, and having a transfer passage constituted to permit relative positional change of the cartridge discharge port and the cartridge storage section at least in the prescribed direction. The transferring section includes a transfer passage formed by a belt-type, chain type, disc-type conveyor and the like, or a flexible tube. Then, the machine gun can be movably disposed on an aircraft body and the like, and the cartridge storage section can be disposed on the aircraft body and the like independently from the machine gun.
