DISPLAY DEVICE AT POWER SOURCE CUTOFF OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly rescue passengers shut in a car 2, for relieving a sense of unease of the passengers, by guiding a position and a failure state of the car 2 on a car position display 4 and an external automatic communicator 51 backed up by a battery, by detecting cutoff of a power source for power. SOLUTION: When the car 2 stops outside a door zone by power source cutoff, a failure state is guided in the car by a power source cutoff guide display lamp 31 backed up by the battery, and a sense of unease of the passengers is relieved by flickeringly turning on a car position display lamp 4. While, a control panel 5 in a machine room is provided with the automatic communicator 51, to automatically inform the power source cutoff and door zone-outside stopping to an external part.
