PAPER DISCHARGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wait paper in a waiting state without contacting with collected paper up to finishing processing such as printing, while efficiently collecting the large amount of the paper. SOLUTION: This paper discharge device 1 is provided with a waiting passage 43 having one side connected to a carrying-in port 40 and the other side connected to a discharge port 41, a collecting passage 44 having one side connected to the waiting passage via a merged part 48 and the other side connected to a collecting chamber 47, a carrying mechanism 45 for carrying paper P carried via the carrying-in port in the forward direction up to the discharge port and sending the paper into the collecting passage via the confluent part by carrying in the inverse direction after a specific time passes after carrying and an input mechanism 46 arranged in the collecting passage and inputting the paper sent from the waiting passage to the collecting chamber by carrying to the downstream side, wherein the input mechanism has one roller and the other roller for rotating while nipping the paper in-between, and carries the paper while forming a fold line M along the carrying direction over the total length of the paper by both rollers.
