PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file that prevents documents from shifting or falling off. SOLUTION: In the file (10), a back cover 50 and the front cover 60 are superimposed and are continuous in one side 21. A pivotal part 23 is provided in one end of the one side 21, pivotally attaching at least one of the back cover 50 or the front cover 60 to a clip part 30 in a rotatable manner. The clip part 30 is roughly U-shaped in cross section and, when the clip part 30 is rotated to a clamping position for clamping the back cover 50 and the front cover 60, the clip part 30 clamps, in the nearly U-shaped part, the back cover 50, the front cover 60 and the documents (not shown) placed between the back cover 50 and the front cover 60. In the end part oppositely facing the pivotal part 23 in the one side 21, there is provided a joint part 24 at which the back cover 50 and the front cover 60 are joined, wherein the one side 21 and the joint part 24 are blocked to form a nearly bag shape in which the one side 21 and the oppositely facing side (counter side 22) are open.
