Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus stabilizing and improving treatment performance of a treating membrane packed in a vessel. SOLUTION: In the water treatment apparatus 10, a pipe 42 is disposed on the outer circumferential surface 24A of a vessel 24 and, at the same time, is disposed on the tangential direction with respect to the inner circumferential surface 24B of the vessel 24. Thereby, sea water jetted from a jetting port 46 of the pipe 42 is changed into a swirling flow in the vessel 24 and, therefore, the vertical direction component of the sea water with respect to an inlet edge surface 28A of an RO membrane 28 disappears once. Thereafter, the sea water proceeds to the axial direction of the vessel 24 while swirling along the inner circumferential surface 24B of the vessel 24. Meanwhile, the flowrate axial direction component of the sea water flow proceeding to the axial direction becomes to be substantially uniform over the whole region of the inlet edge surface 28A of the RO membrane 28. Thereby, the sea water is fully exposed over the whole surface of the RO membrane 28 and, therefore, the whole surface of the RO membrane 28 is efficiently exposed to the sea water.
