WALKING TYPE LAWN MOWER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type lawn mower which can remove the looseness of a chain for transmitting a power to wheels, even when the travel direction of a travel machine frame is switched. SOLUTION: A main driving chain 59 is wound on an output sprocket 50 disposed on an output shaft 8, a front input sprocket 52 for transmitting a power to a front wheel, and a rear input sprocket 54 for transmitting a power to a rear wheel. A front tension arm 55 having a front tension sprocket 56 and a rear tension arm 57 having a rear tension sprocket 58 are supported on the output shaft 8 in a freely rotatable state. The front tension sprocket 56 and the rear tension sprocket 58 are arranged at positions for making contact with the main driving chain 59, and a spring 60 for pulling the front tension arm 55 and the rear tension arm 57 is disposed.
