WALKING TYPE LAWN MOWER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type lawn mower which can adjust the mowing height by a simple operation. SOLUTION: In the walking type lawn mower, a transmission case 5 capable of being freely swung on a swinging axis X of laterally horizontal posture as a center is supported in a housing A. A mowing blade driven on a vertical driving axis Y as a center is disposed at the lower end of the transmission case 5, and a mowing height-adjusting mechanism E swung on the swinging axis X of the transmission case 5 as the center to adjust the mowing height is also disposed. In the mowing height-adjusting mechanism E, a control member 73 is swung on a shaft 72 as the center by the operation of an adjusting lever 74 to guide a control pin 76 to one of different opening widths of the single control opening 73C of the control member 73. The control pin 76 is supported on the transmission case 5, and the movement of the control pin 76 is controlled with the control opening 73C, thereby setting the swinging quantity of the transmission case 5 to set a mowing height.
